Solydra Range of solar solutions

New technologies are constantly being patented by the solar panel companies to keep ahead of the technology curve. A feat of innovation that earned the company a spot on MIT's list of the top 50 most innovative companies list and kept them at the front of the curve, is Solynda‘s solar panel tubes.
SOLYNDRA® Solar is one of the world's most advanced PV solar systems using CIGS (copper indium gallium selenide) technology; these cells are known for their high degree of conversion efficiency. Roof space that can be used to generate clean, green energy for your building can be provided by the SOLYNDRA® Solar solution.
The cylindrical design of the Solyndra product offers proven dependability and high-quality execution. These unique cells consist of tubes that capture solar radiation across their entire surface and are capable of converting direct, diffused and reflected sunlight into electricity. Solyndra has the lowest system installation costs on a per watt basis for the commercial rooftop market. Fast installations mean less business disruption for the end customer as the rooftop work is completed rapidly. For installers, being able to finish more jobs promptly means more revenue during the best installation seasons.
The Solyndra panels can be mounted horizontally as the wind blow through them. There is no need for concern that the panels will transfer wind load to the roof or be blown off the roof. No roof penetrations, attachments or ballast are needed. Installations can be done quicker and more cost-effectively than conventional rooftop PV solar installations as panels and mounts are quickly attached together. There is also less opportunity for leaks on the rooftop and in some cases, a rooftop warranty can be kept that might otherwise be voided by penetrations.
More than 1000 Solyndra systems are installed around the world. The cylindrical panels can be situated virtually anyway around with hardly any impact in the energy they generate. This means that building contours and high system density on the rooftop can be followed by the Solyndra panels. The Solyndra system is tremendously lightweight and modules are spaced within the panel frame giving unique air flow properties. Often Solyndra is the only solar solution that works for installations such as older buildings and “value-engineered buildings” not designed to carry a heavy rooftop load.
The modules are designed to reliably produce power for more than 25 years in the harsh environment of the rooftop and to provide superior performance with soiling, wind and snow on rooftops around the world.

New technologies are forever being patented by the solar panel companies to keep ahead of the technology curve.
The SOLYNDRA® Solar solution is set to revolutionise the way roof space is used to generate clean, green energy for your building.
The cylindrical design of the Solyndra product offers proven reliability and first-class operation. These individual cells are capable of converting direct, diffused and reflected sunlight into electricity as they comprise of cells that capture solar radiation across their entire surface. Solyndra has the lowest system installation costs on a per watt basis for the commercial rooftop market. The installation and rooftop work is completed promptly which means less disruption for the end customer. This means that extra installations can happen as jobs can be completed more promptly, which means more revenue for installers.
The Solyndra panels can be mounted horizontally as the wind blow through them. This means that they will not transfer wind load to the roof or be blown off. Simple, non-penetrating mounting hardware is used in the Solyndra system. Installations can be done quicker and more cost-effectively than conventional rooftop PV solar installations as panels and mounts are quickly attached together. There is also less chance for leaks on the rooftop and in some cases, a rooftop warranty can be maintained that might otherwise be voided by penetrations.
More than 1000 Solyndra systems are installed around the world. The cylindrical design allows panels to be set in virtually any orientation with little impact on energy generation. This allows Solyndra panels to follow building contours and high system density on the rooftop. The Solyndra system offers unique air flow properties as it is extremely lightweight and modules are spaced within the panel frame. Often Solyndra is the only solar solution that works for installations such as older buildings and “value-engineered buildings” not designed to carry a heavy rooftop load.

Every day solar panel companies are patenting technologies that keep them ahead of the technology curve. What is Evalon Solar?

Two companies - a Spanish one called Intemper Espanola and a German one developed a virtually “invisible” flexible PV solar film in a EUREKA project. If you do not want to put ugly solar panels with metal frames on your building then this film can be used by homeowners and companies. Their product is called “Evalon Solar”.
It is a building integrated product that combines in a single product and installation process, the waterproofing membrane with thin film photovoltaic modules. This combines exceptional waterproofing performance whilst exploiting the potentiality of the roof as a platform for the production of clean, sustainable electricity generation, which can be utilised in the building or sold back to the electricity supply company.
EVALONR Solar offers reliable protection of buildings against precipitation and direct conversion of solar energy into electric power, whilst being a high-performance single ply roofing membrane with malleable and lightweight photovoltaic (PV) modules.
If you are looking for photovoltaic 'electricity on a roll' then you need the EVALON® Solar single ply membrane. It creates sustainable energy all year round by utilising photovoltaic cells. It offers unbeatable protection and photovoltaic energy generation all in one solar solution by combining Alwira's world-class single ply roof membrane.
EVALON® Solar single ply membranes are outstanding for photovoltaic design flexibility, and are appropriate for flat, curved or pitched roofs. The EVALON® Solar roofing system incorporates power generating photovoltaic cells and is proven to make up to 20% greater output than the common crystalline type.
EVALON® Solar does not need direct sunlight; instead it works with diffused light which makes it perfect for a changeable climate like Britain's. The photovoltaic electrical power generated from the solar roofing system can be used either directly in the building where it is installed or can be "sold" to an existing energy supplier.
It is easy to incorporate the alwitra EVALON® Solar range onto any rooftop as it is supplied on rolls, mechanically fixed and then ready to be electrically attached. If you want an easy PV solar solution, providing both your weatherproofing and energy requirements then you need Alwitra EVALON® Solar.
