What is Evalon Solar?
Two companies - a Spanish one called Intemper Espanola and a German one developed a virtually “invisible” flexible PV solar film in a EUREKA project. If you do not want to put ugly solar panels with metal frames on your building then this film can be used by homeowners and companies. Their product is called “Evalon Solar”.
It is a building integrated product that combines in a single product and installation process, the waterproofing membrane with thin film photovoltaic modules. This combines exceptional waterproofing performance whilst exploiting the potentiality of the roof as a platform for the production of clean, sustainable electricity generation, which can be utilised in the building or sold back to the electricity supply company.
